Check out this. It's a super tiny barebones system from Shuttle. Support for up to 1100Mhz CPU, 1024MB RAM, and ATA/100 support. It's only 250$ & has a neato Aluminum case. (Shuttle's Spec Page)

i saw someplace last week where the were offering a package deal and that and a celery 1000 for a decent price - maebbe outpost.com - don't remember - the only problem is that you can't "retire your main system components into that case, it's seriously tiny. cool if that's al you need, though. lots of reviews at there on this anand, hardocp, etc/

A lot of people have been reviewing these lately. They look ultra-cool for living-room /HT computers.

The size definitely improves the SAF (Spousal Acceptance Factor)

This is an amazing piece of work as long as you're not into gaming.
It might even be an amazing piece for LAN gamers when they can live with a PCI gfx card.
Don't crucify me but Toms Hardware got a nice review on that babe.
I think Shuttle will release a new Flex ATX board with that case for Athlon usage so I dunno how to provide proper cooling for those CPU's ... it would be nice when Shuttle uses a new mobo with different chipset that supports the Tualitins, as mentioned in Toms review.

That little box is just awesome for Home A/V setups. It'd probably also be perfect for people like parents and little bro/sisters. Nice and small unit, plus it's cool looking to boot!

chottoED - Outpost had a 1ghz Celeron model for around $329.00. Thats a killer little setup for a non gamer.

OK... just finished building the PC for my client...
THIS BABY IS SMALL!!!!...
everything was sweet... the onboard video was acceptable.. but definitely not q3a or UT material..
the NIC, sound, ... EVERYTHING worked w/o a hitch in WinXP and didn't even need additional drivers..

It even came w/ it's own low profile cooler which works just fine w/ the system's Celeron 1.1GHz..
Heat maintained at only 120F at 100% load...

My only gripe is the fan the mini powersupply is using is WAY loud... other than that, this barebone combined w/ the Ricoh DVD/CDRW drive i got from DaMan, makes one kick ass system....
I know my client was happy about it...
