Lite On 24x10x40. Just got this from newegg on friday.. Buying a Chieftech 1030B case and want to switch to the black drive. Drive is OEM comes with Nero 5.5. Put this in to verify that it works burned 2 cd's and damn its fast... Model number LTR-24102B-02 Asking 85 shipped SOLD

Toshiba 16x48 DVD Model SD-M1502 Had this drive for about a year has worked flawlessly... Going to a black case so this has to go! Asking 60 Shipped. Bare Drive Only PENDING

Taisol with copper bottom... Bottom has been lapped with 600 then 1000 grit sandpaper... Has a Delta 7k rpm fan... Also has the big clip. Works great on the mobo's with the center peg broke off.. 22 shipped SOLD

LOL i wish Greg! Actually all of this came out of my computer. Need to sell it so i can get that Chieftech 1030B case newegg has for 69+shipping. Want to get the Black Lite On and the 16x Lite On DVD also...

Hey I have a Black Bezel that might work for that Toshiba. I'll let you have it for the cost of shipping. It does have an opening for an Audio control button which the newer drives don't have. Let me know.

I'll pass Red... I want the 16x Lite On cause it will DAE at almost 48x :) whereas the Toshiba is lucky to hit 15x. I'e got 150+cd's i wanna rip so the faster the better.

Ya i read this review over at Storagereview.com I gotta get me one of these :) 3rd page shows the benchmarks Average of 34x DAE.

Yeah, that Lite On DVD drive screams as a ripper. I had my S&F burner in my system as the only CD device and it was horrid at reading/extracting. I couldn't believe how fast I was ripping discs when I bought the DVD drive last week. I'd have 3 LAME windows converting, and EAC ripping, got through a couple stacks of CDs in no time.
