I know i've heard of a problem with this and there's a fix but i can't remember where i seen it at.... So if anyone knows it let me know it would be appreciated...

Probably you need to re-install the Windows Update software - sometimes it gets corrupted.

There should be a link on the update page that tells you what to do if update doesn't work properly.

You can also do a search on the MS Knowledgebase for "Windows Update problem": http://search.support.microsoft.com/
