Well I managed to get her up to 993.92 MHz. She's a Cel. 566 Cbo SL46T. This is at 2.0v and a temp of 37-38c. Ain't stable yet but a little burn-in, some tweakin'......

She'll post at 1054 but stops after DMI verification, just sits there her lttle cursor blinking. :) :)

Dat's very nice LW, and I was pretty damned pleased with my 566@901. Excellent job.

If I was that close, I would be really itchy to break 1GHZ (unfortunately I am not!)... Did you give it a try with a smaler step than this 1045Mhz? What about your temps, is she running hot? By how much did you increase the voltage?

Temps are ok.Idle at 35c and load at 38c. That should be dropping a bit soon, as I'm supposed to have a Delta on the way to mount on my Alpha. No I can't take a smaller FSB increment. Old BX6r2 goes from 117 to 124 FSB. Stock voltage is 1.50 and I upped it to 2.0v. If I could increase the volt further, this may help with stability. Won't even worry about that until I get some better cooling. Thinking about going wet :)

I'm a little loose in the noodle. I've seen guys running 2.1v and slightly higher. So long as she's cool and not gettin' hinky, its alright. :)
