Just a couple of things you may have already tried.

Boot with one stick of ram and then in different slots. Reseating the ram also.
Not sure how p4 sits but maybe reseat that too.

If not the ram or cpu then it's usually either the video card or power supply. At worst it's the mobo, but it happens.

I tried all those scenarios thanks. Anybody have an idea how to RMA ASUS mobo's?


I can't seem to find it on their site but I did send an email to the tech support, hopefully they will respond.

If its not beeping at all its either the CPU or the motherboard. RAM and vid problems will give beep error codes on an Asus board. If you don't have access to another P4 system to test your gear, its more or less a crap shoot as to which one is bad. :(

Your problem is that its an Asus :D Everythign i can think of has already been mentioned. I'd suggest either RMA'in it selling it and getting a ABIt TH7II or whatever it is...
