So he got back to you in April saying that he didn't receive the ram? When did you ship him the ram?

i can't say nothing
#1 i dont see real proof of your actions
#2 I would need to hear his side of story and also to know his previos trade history

if you would post his name that he trades under on boards or his heatware name that would be nice to be aware of him

if he was concerned about the deal, he should have put forth more effort into it. 8 months is a long time. things like this should be resolved quickly, and not whenever you feel like it.

Did I understand correctly. You sent him ram in december that supposedly satisfied the deal but then he waits till april to get back to you and says he never received the ram?

Well as in any deal that goes sour for any reason, both parties should have a say in it, I think this guy shopuld step into this thread....

I kind of hate to see many threads get lead with only one person speaking up...

I also cant see any "bad" actions on your part codybear...

But 8 months is a long time to wait to wait for a email...

Also the deal as I read it was for memory for $$...
NOT $$$$ & ram for $$$$

And one more thing, if you went to "Footlocker" and bought the most expensive "Nike" shoes and found out later that they would not allow you to "run fast" do you honestly think that as big as "Nike" is that they would refund you any money at all after even just 1 month?? of course not!!
Also codybear does this other trader have exactly the same specs as you in his pc?
I can think of one manufaturer that "guarantees" any overclocked hardware 100% ....

BTW does anyone know if "DELL" has a depreciation allowance on their hardware?

he has replied and supplied his side of the story..it was $275 for 256MB 256PC133 that would do 150....he agreed to accept |$250 or RAM in DEC....I did not have his info until I received his email in DEC at which time I sent his ram but NOT del conf or return receipt...my fault there so another was sent today.....

it suks when U end up learing this way. I know once I sent a viper2 (GOAT) to some one back in the agn days and there was a super long line at the post office so I jsut bought $3.20 (man back when priority was $0.30 cheaper...) in stamps and tossed it up on the counter and made my hasty exit. To bad it Never made it there! so I had to send him another one. Ohwell.

You're fully clear codybear. He has zero basis for anything. Waiting 3 months to tell you he didn't receive any ram is rediculous. The way I see it he owes you the ram you just sent back and should return it to you.
