So who is going to buy it?
Re: Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus review - Polygon
I'll get it once I get a chance to play the first.

It's on my list. I loved the first one. Been replaying it recently. I refuse to pre-order though.

Here's a PC specific review. The one I linked above was for a console version:

I miss the days when game publishers would release a demo. Gives you a chance to check it out on your hardware, but I can see their reasons:
1. By not releasing a demo, they will maximize their profits. If a gamer does not not like the demo, then they won't buy it.
2. They probably have to hire more staff to deal with demos, which will make them lose money in the end since the demo is free.

Re: Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus review - Polygon
Sadly, Steam reviews are pretty bad, which makes me wonder if they've paid off the professional reviewers.
The game is buggy and crashes a lot for some people. The game doesn't really end - it's sequel bait for the three DLCs that will continue the story, so you're stuck with the choice of buying the digital deluxe version now, and hoping the DLCs are worth it, or coughing up more money for the season pass later. The idea of a "Season" pass for a single player game really feels like a money grab.
I'll still get it eventually - I loved the previous game (just replayed it a second time), but I'll wait until the bugs are worked out.

I listen to the Jimquisition Podcast. They said the game was good but the difficulty spike is ridiculous and Blazkowicz is a bit fragile. They suggested putting the game on easy and enjoying it. I'll wait and grab the GOTY edition once all of the DLC is out. The bugs are most likely video drivers. I know NVidia released a hotfix driver the day the game was released.
