i'm amazed no one has posted in here about IM3 yet. saw it over the weekend...great addition to the series. i would rank it last in the series overall, but since i liked the first two so much, that doesn't take away from this one. it was definitely a different style than the others. worth seeing on the big screen.

While it's entertaining, it's full of plot holes and inconsistencies. I saw it in the theater (2D) but I saw no reason I couldn't have waited for the DVD. Also saw nothing worth watching in 3D.
In the end I didn't think it was as good as the 2nd one, and I wan't a big fan of the 2nd one. 1st was the best.
My biggest annoyance is that he spent WAY too much time as an action hero in this one and way too little time in the suit. Without the suit he's just supposed to be a regular guy (albeit brilliant). All of a sudden he's a gymnast, and can get slammed into walls without the suit and suffer no injuries.
Also in one scene he's sneaking around taking out henchmen with cold precision like Steven Segal, and in another scene he can't hit the broad side of a barn with a pistol.
Then there's the suit charging thing. Since when does a suit powered by an ARC reactor need to be charged off a 12 volt marine battery? It was just annoying seeing all the inconsistencies.
