I'd like to stay in around $100 or less and wireless .

Haven't bought a new router in a while (usually just end up setting up the ones that people receive with their DSL service).

I have three Linksys WRT54Gs running DD-WRT. I love them. Never have to reset them, never any issues or hickups.

Yup.. What FP said.. I have a few of these doing all kind of fun stuff between myself and my family that lives close.. I even have a WRT54G that is almost 7 years old that has never given me a single problem. I'd see if I could find one of them on eBay if I was going to buy a new router..

bought a cisco linksys E1500 wireless router .for me and i should of said this .I perfer a earless type wireless router !

"Earless"? You mean without external antennas?

I prefer REAL antennas. Those internal antennas don't have anywhere near the range of externals.

I have it too, but the wireless seems to crash often enough. Especially bad when transferring files between 2 wireless pc's. Most of the time the router notices the wireless crashed and brings it back up, though.

I had this kind of problem with my first D-Link setup before I switched to Linksys and swore to never buy another D-Link product.. In fact I posted about it on the forums here when I first joined. hah..
