Comcast Tech's

Post by renovation »

had them out today spent a hour to say the modem was not the problem but the splitter. OK maybe well see. i said to the a-hole my TV been getting a fuss signal on the phone. as i was out and the wife was home with this jerk.
he said i check it out . i go to watch TV tonight and what happens no TV in the living room . I'm getting some kind of signal i know from the screen showing wait a moment while it gets adjusted or some BS like so . I'm waiting and after five Min's i decide let me check out a couple of things. i found i needed to replace the cable from the cable box at the TV to the splitter in my basement as the end at the TV seemed shabby at best. OK i need to find a barrel connector as my new leads are only 6 ft's and i need like 12 ft of cable . get it replaced call comcrap on the phone hit a couple of buttons on the old cell they send a reset signal to the cable box . now all is working just fine. O-ya i did that same phone call tonight before i replaced the cable and didn't help .so ya it was the cable wire . were do they train or find these so call tech -a holes . i apply for a job there but there office and dispatch office is 60 miles away in Ann Arbor. screw that im not driving 1 1/2 each way just to start and end a 8 hr plus job on the road all dam day driving and being bitch at .
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me. :help

Somehow, I got the lucky tech with Charter. Dude gave me free cable & I didn't even ask. Gave me a loaner modem when I first started up for 6 months (no charge). Tells me to call his cell if there are problems & he usually shows in a few hours.
