I need to buy new 80mm case fans. I have a full tower case so there's plenty of room for air flow. The case can handle 4-80mm fans. I would like something fairly quiet with good airflow. I was considering getting these:

Or these: http://www.svc.com/80zalzm.html
My options are open. I'm not wanting to spend too much but I want somehting I won't have to replace in 6 months.

THE quietest fans I have EVER heard are Nexxus fans. I use their 80mm fans in all my Media Center PCs, and a 120mm fan on my bench PC. Dead quiet without sacrificing air flow. They don't just run slower, but have specially shaped blades:

I use Sunbeam for mine, work pretty well and silent.
Check out http://www.svc.com
That is where I tend to get all things cooling-related. They have the same one FP showed as well.
Read the noise, lower dBA means it is less loud. The one FP linked us far more quiet than that Zalman, the ones I use are only slighly louder than those Nexxus ones. You are likely to pay more for silent fans, but they also tend to be of better quality too.

When all else fails, replace the user.
