router

Networking and broadband talkabout. Need help with that new router or setting up a network?

hey all i want to buy this router http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products ... 26&_LOC=UK but it uses ethernet connect and my pc has them being a up to date pc but my mum does not could i some how get round this problem.

Welcome to PCA!

A little hard to understand what you're asking. All routers have ethernet connections. If your PC doesn't have one then you can buy a ethernet PCI card.

Look carefully though. Any computer made in the last 2 years should have an ethernet jack. Sometimes it's on a card slot, sometimes it's on the motherboard and located near the rear USB ports.
