You're talking about AGP Aperature? Leave it set to the default (64Mb) or (if you have a 256Mb video card) you can TRY 128Mb, but if you have any mysterious problems set it back to 64Mb. Do not use anything higher or lower. Safest setting is 64Mb.

In real world gaming this setting is not important (except that many modern cards will crash if you use anything other than 64 or 128Mb).

He could also be meaning the size of memory for an integrated solution in which how much would you want it to use of your system ram, naturally this would depend on how much you have.
When all else fails, replace the user.

The AGP Aperture Size is the amount of system ram to be shared with the AGP interface. Setting this value too high can steal too much system memory from applications, which can easily offset the benefit of more video RAM. The default setting of 64MB is usually fine, although you can experiment with higher and lower values yourself.
There's absolutely no reason to set it higher than 128Mb with a modern video card.
