Targus notebook chill pad.....works well

Post by EvilHorace »

It was an extra excessory option that I could have ordered with my new laptop but at that time, I didn't get it. My new laptop does get warm on top (as does my old one too if you put it on your lap, almost unconfortable) so I bought a Targus notebook chill pad yesterday at Bestbuy ($30) and it works well, the notebook is definately cooler to touch and that has to be a good thing, especially when gaming which has to add alot of heat inside any laptop.
Has 2 USB powered cooling fans with an on/off switch and it's very quiet too.
The ONLY drawback is that then elevates the laptop almost an inch off the surface but I think I can adjust to that.

I got it also. It seems to do an OK job.
