nero burner is a bore!!

Post by UK1nation »

I have a 'PLEXTOR DVD/CD-RW' and with the burner came 2 cd's with one containing only NERO programs...i tried to install 'EZcd creator' but after the install is complete it begins to flash a message concerning the burner and that its not 'compatible or not registered' do all PLEXTOR burners have the same stupid problem?? is there a way to get around this so i can say goodbye to nero once and for all??

I dont think your problem is the burner but the software. Many times when a program comes bundled with a drive it is tied to that drive and wont work on other drives. Personally I would stick with Nero over EZ CD Creator but that is just me. Did you copy of EZ CD come with another burner or did you buy it separately?

Sounds like your EX-CD creator needs to be updated. Newer drives require newer versions. Check their website.

I recommend you use Nero, though, it's a better program.

nero and winoncd are the two most robust burnig apps I have used- roxio may be pretty, but useless when it comes to special projects

nero takes anything you throw at it
