Bet you were expecting a can of raid in here ? :D
Been messing with my RAID setup after talking to VidmanII. Below are screen shots with the four different Stripe/Cluster sizes that I tried. I am using a pair of 36GB WD Raptors in RAID0 with NTFS on an MSI KT6 Delta LSR. I'll post a screenshot of HDTach as soon as I install it and run it. I think I will stick with the 16/16. :D

What !!! no Nforce2????? :laugh j/k.....nice boards, just funky RAID controllers.

look at the tight write /reads with the 16K stripe / 16 cluster !! :eek: . That's when you really feel the "snap" of a good RAID 0 set !!

Screw nforce untill they fix the SATA Raid. :D

Looks like the Nforce 3 250 might have it goin' on. Here's a comparo of Integrated SATA / RAID w/ Raptors. Ur gonna need an A64 cpu for that action tho.
