Recommendations for memory on an Asus A7N8X
I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe mobo with a Athlon 2500+ Barton and would like to know what brand of memory would you recommend for this mobo. I don't mind spending a few extra bucks if it's quality memory.
I have mushkin only because I got a great deal on it. It works fine. I've also had crucial on the asus I had, it was just fine too. I've heard good things about buffalo memory.
If you want to crank that 2500 to 3200, then you'll want pc3200 ddr.

Yeah you need two sticks to take advantage of the Dual Channel thing. I recommend Kingston HyperX. I have two sticks of PC2700 of it and it works great. Currently running at the most aggressive timings on my Epox 8RDA+ with a 2500 Barton at 12.5 x 180. The HyperX is good quality ram for a very reasonable price.
