How many out there are military?

Just curious because there seems to be more than a few of us just on this board alone. I'm currently an E6 in the Army.

well one day i think i would like to join the army.. To Be a Sniper

Ive allways wanted to be a sniper hehe.. Play cs with me and you will see

My Sisters husband is a E-3 i belive in the army.. or wait i think he was talking about me.. cause i used to be in this program called "Civil Air Patrol" CAP.. and he said if i was still in that. and went to the army.. i could prolly be a E-3 by now.. meaning once i was able to be in the army..

i quit the thing.. cause the commanding officer was a prick.. and just pissed me off. so i kinda left.. oh well. i want to go to the army now

Tryin' to get in the air force. Went through the entire physical to get disqualified for a pain I have in my knee every once in a while (Chrondomalacia Patella) <img src=http://mywebpages.comcast.net/hipnotic_ ... es/sad.gif> In short, it's either a buildup or lack of cartalige in my knee....they said I can go to another doctor and get it evaluated which I have a date for on Sept 4th. I'm hoping the problem is not that bad and surgery isn't required and if it is, I might consider it...I'm still on the fence about it.

If that doesn't work out, the Navy has been knockin' down my door (they're the first branch I was interested in) so I can see if there is anything they can do. Even though they'll more than likely be sending in the same papers but it's worth a shot

My fav thing on BF1942... get in some weeds right where they can't see you and reak havok on the poor innocent soles

...average number of rounds expended in Vietnam to kill one enemy solder with the M-16 was 50,000. The average number of rounds expended by U.S. military snipers to kill one enemy soldier was 1.3 rounds. That's a cost-difference of $23,000 per kill for the average soldier, vs. $0.17 per kill for the military sniper.

Sniping is really not that hard. You just have to have a lot of patience. I went to a one week orientation course while I was stationed at Fort Campbell with the 101st and as long as you have some patience you can hit targets all day long with the match grade ammo and the rifles. The Barrett .50 cal was one of the funnest handheld weapons that I've had the priveledge to fire. Got to take a few shots with one when we were supporting 5th group. I have to go back to Fort Benning for 5 weeks at the end of the year to complete some more schooling and I'm trying to convince them to foot the bill to send me to Airborne while I'm there since it won't cost them any extra to do it. I wanna be a 5 jump chump

so that I can add another addition to my "I love me wall."

I have been for 8 yrs now, Been to Jackson,Gordon, Ft Hood, and station in Chicago as a Recruiter as well. All I have to say is the Army is the funnest pay check you will ever make.

Threw 12yrs in the Army away

got tired of playing all the political games
When I left I was a E6 was offered E7 to stay but already made the decision to leave
Dam would have had over 24yrs now if I would have stayed
