wedding pictures

Post by sheerdark »

Hello once again all,

Well...I recently got married, well not exactly recently anymore, but as of May 17, 2003 and I have a whole mess of wedding photos from everyone and some of my own, and some from a friend that took the "professional shots." My question is this, I have been considering buying a negative/slide scanner in order to scan in the negatives for my enlargments, to be purchased at Ofoto.com, rather than enlarging with a scan of the print. Do any of you guys have a negative/slide scanner that you would recommend.....and do you have any samples of its scanning ability. I would also prefer to keep the cost to under $100, if possible.

Thanks for all your help,

Matt

Here's a have a good day shot ;-)

All a slide/negative scanner has is a back-lighted hood. Other than that for all intents and purposes it's no different than a regular scanner.

You could make your own backlight hood, but color temperature of the bulb is critical.

Any of the scanners with a back-light attachment should work just fine - just read the reviews.
