Got this miniDV camcorder

fun fun fun, SO SMALL! and I really dig the memory stick slot. I can be taking a movie, and jsut hit the picture button and it takes a picture while still recording.

I threw my memory stick away. It's worthless. No camcorder takes decent stills - the CCD is optimized for motion not detail. If I'm going to take a still I'll use my digital camera.

aggred, but its convienent for the ocasional shot...and it is higher quality then the older stuff now atleast.

this way, you can take a snap-shot of your woman and you fooling around, and when she wants you to get rid of the tape, you still have the stills

yeah... that's a cool camera. i was actually thinking of buying one but because of budget constraints i ended up with a canon minidv camera.

is your camera the one with the "touchscreen" lcd?

yea, its got that...one thing I dont like is it has a far smaller zoom over comperable models.
