playing MDs thru line in of sound card

Post by sithlink »

hey everyone,

i want to connect my MD player to my line-in of my sound card to listen to MDs through my computer speakers. how do i do this? i have a sound blaster live mp3. is there a program that lets me play something that is going into the line in without recording it? (because i know some of the Creative software only lets you record things from line in, not letting you play it straight from the external source)

thanks.

all you have to do is plug it in, then goto your soundcard controls, goto advanced options and choose recording, select your line in as active, adjust the volume and your there, any sound threw that line will now come threw the speakers, make sure its up in the plackback section too
