137 gig limit

Post by busheadfox »

Am I think correctly that currently you can only go up to a 137 gig partition on a hard drive. Is there a way to use the whole 200 gig as a single partition.

few options, some of the newer Bios's let you use the 48 bit addressing that the 200g hd's require, and my WD 200g drive came with a promise card that has a bios for the 48 bit addressing. newer mboards work with the drive without the stupid card. I know the kt400's do
