XP User problem

Booted up my computer the other day only to find that it booted to "guest" user. Obviously I screwed with the wrong setting the night before.

Naturally I couldn't do much of anything in guest mode (needed to install a video driver and couldn't) In a fit of rage I reformatted as I couldn't figure out how to solve the problem. I couldn't even connect to the internet to ask. No matter what I tried I couldn't do do much of anything because of user restrictions.

For future reference how does one fix the problem? Besides the obvious "don't mess with it".

hit the start button and log off of user

then log back onto yours.

nice...Yeah that log off button is a tough one. Although if u dont have the button (muyst be enabled), go to shut down and its an option there.

I did that Pred....and I could only log on as guest. I treid every thing but guest was my only option. What pisses me off most is lost my bookmarks, tunes and all my wallpapers.
