What PSU is needed for this setup?

Post by ©LINT »

I have a trade pending for a athlon xp 2000+. I am going to buy a new Soyo Dragon Plus to run with that. I have seen where you need a certian PSU like " PSU for P4" and such. Is this the case on this Athlon? Thanks for your time.

Any quality 350 watt or preferable 400watt power supply should work. Stay away from cheap no name units and you should be ok. If you are going to have lots of case fans and drives probably will want a 400watt unit

I've got a 350W that runs XP's really well. Only reason i pulled it out cause it only has 4 - 4 pin molex's and 1 floppy molex. Yours for 30 shipped :) I've got 5 fans 3 hard drives 2 cd drives and a floppy i need to power and the lack of connectors was gettin' on my nerves. lol
