Forums a bit slow and getting errors today...

Post by FlyingPenguin »

Anyone else? It's been hesitating all day, and the last few posts I get a white screen error about too many connections and I have to retry.

Blade, do we need a new hamster for the server? :)

Wish I knew, I've been getting some of those data base errors off and on too. Usually a reload does load a page. No slow down for me though.

Anyway the hampsters know about the problem. :D And they are good hampsters. Image

Hey there guys this is one of the RealGN administrators for the server that PCA is on. We are working hard on upgrading the hamsters food source so hopefully things should get sorted out soon ;-)

Enjoy the new (hopefull) stability though! As for the servers PCA is on, no they arent on a dedicated box but because of the way we set things up with multiple servers, they are on a monster setup. As for the forum upgrades, nope, we are fully upgraded here.

Oooh more pictures eh, hmmm well maybe we should get a new article up about the whole network setup with lots of pics, that would be sweet actually. We'll definitely look into doing it if we get some free time =)

As for the errors, I believe its time we upped the food intake for the hamsters again =)

SPEAKING OF SQUIRRELS!

I went out to mow the lawn Saturday. I have a nice big 52", 3 blade Sear riding mower (I need it with nearly 3 acres to mow!).

ANYWAY it sits outside with a tarp over it. I tried to fire it up and it wouldn't start. Open the hood and I find that a damn squirrel has made a friggin' nest in the engine compartment.

Worse yet the bastard ate through at least one wire.

I need to get out there next weekend and fix the damn thing. Hopefull it's only one wire.
