I just saw a commercial for this today. I can't believe it.... for 9.95 a month you can have an.......

Actually this was something that has been around for awhile (couple years in fact), but it was run through a Private ISP. I guess Earthlink (being the second largest ISP in the US) bought out the company and the devices and made it an earthlink device instead. Big surprise.

It's still stupid......I'll give ya that.

Sure, we PC people would never want one but it'd probably be ideal for my parents who are now in their 70s and hate computers as they don't get along with modern technology very well. From what I'm told, e-mailing people in other states is about the only thing they use it for and that machine is cheaper than long distance.
