FS: Toshiba 460CDX laptop w/accessories...

Post by Snelski »

Okay, here it goes:

*** Toshiba 460CDX Laptop ***

Link to specs:

http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content ... 460cdx.pdf

In written form:

* Intel Pentium 166Mhz with MMX Technology 256 L2 cache
* 12.1" Dual Scan color screen
* 96MB RAM
* 1.44 Floppy
* 2.1 GB hard drive (has Win98SE on it - you supply the license)
* 10X CDROM built-in and swappable
* 16-bit Yamaha with Sound Blaster Pro compatiblity - nice sound
* Two PCMCIA slots
* Has following expansion Slots: 1 USB port, 1 Parallel port ,1 Serial port, AC adapter jack, Line in, Microphone in, 1 PS/2 Mouse port, Speaker/Headphone (stereo) and a docking port
* Lithium-Ion battery in excellent condition and takes full charge
* Toshiba Brand AC adapter in excellent working condition
* Keyboard with integrated TrackPoint (eraser-style accupoint) mouse

Accessories included:

* Toshiba Port Replicator w/key
* Toshiba laptop bag in excellent condition
* Original 460CDX manual + companion CD

Optional accessory

* Ready Port *IBM style* 56K modem & 10/100 Ethernet combo card available for extra $50.00 - I would highly recommend getting this from me, it works great with this lappy and I was truly surprised how quick the 56K connection was to the internet on the road. This is one that uses no dongle, just a straight hookup to the card.

This laptop is in great condition, not a crack anywhere - it's been babied and works great with 98SE. I used it only for business travel and was very happy with it for that purpose. The dual scan picture is not as clear as the TFT one, but you'll be hard-pressed to find a lappy in better overall condition than this one. Keyboard is excellent, I like that keyboard more than the one I have on my main computer here.

I am asking $245.00 + shipping for the entire deal including the port replicator - but not the IBM Readyport modem/ethernet adapter. Pictures can be provided by email - but please only inquire if you are serious about buying this laptop.

Let me know and thanks for your interest,
