Which card would be the better one to get? I have a 1.4 T-bird and I want a nice card to go with it. I've heard good things about both cards. Which has better image quality and which is faster?
The radeon has better image quality while the gts cards are faster. So it depends what's most important to you, image quality or speed. Myself I like image quality and the speed is just fine. I use a 1.4 tbird also.
Everybody pretty much agrees the Radeon has better image quality and the GeForce are a little faster. I have a GeForce GTS and a buddy of mine has a Radeon VIVO. Even he admits that between the two my GTS looks much better. It very well could be because of the monitor or some other factor. My eyes are so bad I have a hard time seeing the image quality that others do so I go for frame rates because I hate jerky motion in games.
I own both these cards. As <b>blade</b> and <b>dadx2mj</b> said the GTS is faster and the Radeon has better image quality. Both these cards have mature drivers that perform well. You can't do wrong with either one.
