very nice mod
I was thinking of starting slow and cutting a blowhold on the side panel of my case, then add some plexiglass see-thru and a few neon lights
But yours is awesome. Seems like the modding trend has picked up real fast everywhere, even manufacturers are doing it to suite our tastes and make a few quick extra bucks.

As you can see by that picture. I once again went back to a Different CPU cooler. Got my self the coppor bottom taisol from KDC. the Alpha was honstly just Way to big for the case and the ax-7 wasnt stable enough...and a little big aswell. So I went with the super stable tripple clip taisol. Also definetly going with the sony monitor. granted it is a Little Biger Phisicaly (not screen size) but it is Much lighter and skinier...Maby for now Ill just have the monitor on the inside until I get the time to cut the external hole for it.
Anyone have any leads on a Slim powerful videocard? Maby an gf4 MX or something? but Im pritty sure that ati R 7000 ant got much juice behind it.

I have 2 options. Just cut the Slit and button hole for the SLOT dvd drive, OR cut it all out. and one of our sponsers does sell (paint) silver face plates for the pioneer slot dvd drive...so Im really set eithor way...just have to decide.

Wow, have I been busy. Been doing Other PC stuff and chopping down a HUGE fricken maple tree.
But here is a mini update on the powersuply:

as you can see, I removed any and all the cables I would not be using. I have left the one floppy plug (even though Im not using a floppy) cause I might need one once and a while...never know.
But thats about all that has changed.

What cha going to do with the maple tree? Build a mod desk? Don't throw it away, maple makes great projects!
Depending how big it is, you could carve a nice desk from it or at least a chair for the desk!
I think it was a gaint redwood, but I once saw a trailer house carved from a giant tree trunk! It was cool! All the furniture was made from the tree, using the wood that was removed from the living space. The cabnets were part of the tree, just carved them out and made doors for them. Bunk beds and kitchen table were part of the tree, carved into shape.
I see so many people that chop down a nice oak, maple, or cherry tree and just burn it!
Doesn't matter if your good at wood working really. A solid maple desk that is lumpy, bumpy, warped, and lopsided is still twice as nice as sawdust and glue!!
Long as the computer don't slide off, don't matter if it is a little short on one side long as it is real wood
My opinion anyway. And to think, I may build my own garage and a house latter this year!

bygod, that'd a good idea (maybe not to the extreme that you make it sound that the potential of the tree has, but...) my grandfather (sadly passed) would have had a great time in his younger years doing things like that, he was a great wood worker...even built me my first crib (when I was a baby of coarse)

i turned the trunks into walking steps (stepping stone type things). and got rid of al lthe useless stuff...but I dont realy have time to turn a tree into a desk.
