I'm sorry things like this happen, especially to good people. I'm glad your mom and step dad are alright, it's also sad that the mother died :( and I hope the kids are alright now.... terrible thing to lose a parent. You are very fortunate to still have yours. My dad lost an eye as well, car battery blew up in his face when he was trying to boost it. Minature hydrogen bomb.... no more then 2 feet from his face... but he learned to cope with it. All it takes is time. Time heals all. wish them all the best and a speedy recovery as well. Good luck to you, and god bless

My real Dad died 4 years ago, the one in the accident just married my Mom afterwards, he is <b>not</b> my Dad. ;)
