Can you win this thread? It's only beginning!
How does this sound. Try writting a story with many different authors. I'll start it and the next person to post can pick it up and take it wherever they want ... if anyone's interested of course.
It was a hot summer night and the grind of my hard-drive was starting to get to me. I decided to step outside and smoke a cigarette with a cold beer. As I was standing on the porch thinking about absolutely nothing I heard a loud noise from out behind the house and damn near dropped my beer I was that startled. I briefly considered doing the sensible thing and pretending I didn't hear it and heading on back in the house to watch my download trickle in. My curiosity got the better of me though and I decided to have a look. So I stepped off the porch and tossed my smoke down to grind under my heel, trying to look as cool as possible in case the hot , young divorcee from across the street should be looking my way. As I walked around the corner of the house ...

Party Pooper!
Splurge and then rub it in Joe's Face!
You're not allowed to get <i>matching</i> undergarments until you get the <img src="http://www.pcabusers.net/forums/images/logoblk.jpg" height=50 width=75 border=0> set! :lol
How can we mod a computer case to get some diamonds in it?....hmmmm.
(Bet that would cost a small fortune!

Anyone know where I can get that old 80s song that appeared in the older Acuvue contact commercials (Mid-90s...I think)? It sorta sounds like a tribe or something in the beginning....as far as I can remember. My mind had gone blank and I can't even remember specifically what it sounds like, but I know I wanted that song for the longest time.....someone had once played a remixed version of the song too, but it's been YEARS since I heard it. Any ideas? If anyone might have the remixed version, that would be better. I know once I hear it again, I'll be able to place it.
<b>
: For the first person to find a place I can download it in an MP3 or WMA, I will send ya a free CD-R (<i>with</i> Jewel Case) to say Thanks!
</b>
You can post the info here, send me a PM or e-mail, any are fine.

Does anyone else write poetry?
It's not finished, and I don't have a title yet, but the theme of this thread is "what the hey", so what the hey...
Staring down into a pit;
a dirty, muddy, tangled mess
Once so rich in whatever was,
left ugly, vile, and colourless
And all that come to see this hell,
catch my outline deep below
And should I decide to fill this void,
I fear that soon the mud will show
Then day to month, month to year
Then rocks to stones, stones to sand
Then rain comes and robs me blind,
as I scorn the sky with outstretched hands
But then I realize as clouds retreat,
the contempt I have is for myself
For I filled "I" with dirt and stones,
and nature's ways cannot be helped.
If anyone else shares, then maybe I'll post some more.

I believe that is Sunchyme by Dario G. When I looked a min ago, it was still available on Napster, with different spellings of course, but still all under Dario. It samples "Life in a Northern Town" by Dream Academy.Originally posted by Zyph

Hey waytoomuchcoffee, what's up with this? Trying to steal your thread?I am out of the game. I can't win and won't post past this first one.
bitslap, I do dabble in poetry a little bit, but mostly in a songwriting form. So if I come up with any new lyrics, I'll put 'em on here, just for you
After 10pm, I'm like a werewolf, except I become stupid and incoherent instead of hairy and mean.
