Vulnerable to Meltdown: NO
Vulnerable to Spectre: YES!
Performance: SLOWER

I'm going to disable the meltdown protection. I don't go installing things on this rig anyway, unless it's from Steam.

You can do this yourself with the Disable Spectre Protection button in Steve Gibson's Inspectre utility. It's just a registry setting to ignore using new instructions in the updated BIOS.
