My ride.....and yeah, I know, but it's a screen grab from my camcorder. Maybe I'll scan a photo or maybe someday buy myself a digital camera.

Here's how it looks now with the new Cervini's 4" Cowl induction fiberglass hood in my driveway.

http://oaks56.com/_4_29_01.jpg

Here's the engine with the Barry Grant Race Demon Carb/Victor Jr intake manifold installed (better). The Air cleaner is hopefully going to be replaced soon by a 14" K&N as I'm not particularly fond on that one.

Is it hard seeing over that hood you're thinking? Well, although I can see over it it's a little weird when trying to see anything close to the front end at times. It'd help if I was a few inches taller as the seats are low too.

Sound system........Installed
AC now installed and icy cold too

Updated pics: (7/01- now 535HP)
Now with added 150HP NOS Nitrous!!! :) Almost scary and too fast to really even be able to legally test in my area. Everytime I do I'm worried that a cop might have seen me blast onto the X-way. I'd hate to try explaining my way out of that one.

Interior (slightly out of focus however)
http://www.geocities.com/oaks56/r0010231.jpg

***Updated pics as of 8/26/01 showing new Saleen rear wing. The cops luv it ;) as I was followed home by one right after its installation at work. He was going to turn the other way until he saw me drive by.***

11/01: If you look closely you'll see the etched glass :( which nobody liked. I think the previous owner was doing crack when he (supposedly) paid a guy $500 to have all windows etched (everything but the windshield). I just had all the glass replaced this week and now hoping to sell the etched stuff on Ebay. Next week I'm getting the new glass tinted so I'm running out of things to do with the car. Hopefully I can find a guy who can repaint it for a "reasonable" price as its present paint job and body work sucks. It'll need sanding it down to metal to do it right but then it'll be perfect.

(11/01)Present mods list used in 'Stang forums in sig:
351 HO SVO Crate motor(385HP NA), Victor Jr intake, Race Demon 750cfm carb, 150hp NOS kit plus options, MSD billet distributor, MSD timing computer, MSD 6AL, March 25% underdrive pulleys, BlackMagic electric cooling fan, Griffin Al. radiator. Motorsport headers, 2.5" off-road H pipe, 2 chamber Flowmasters, solid eng/trans mounts, SVO billet flywheel, Hayes clutch/pressure plate, Tremec 3550, SVO aluminum driveshaft, 8.8 rearend from '88 T-Bird w 3.55 gears and rear disc brakes. Many other suspension mods too.

Kaworu
And it drives as nice as it looks and the only other one I might have bought other then the S2000 was the {TT}.
After my TT drive I got out and told the wife... "That is one nice car. Pliable, forgiving, and plenty of power."

After my S2000 drive I got out (visibly shaking with the adrenaline pumping through my veins) and told the wife... "You would HATE me in that car."

The S2000 is as pure a sports car as can be had for the price. The rev-happy engine screams with delight the harder you push it. I found that 40mph curves were carved to pieces at 80mph with NO instability or even the slightest hint of pushing the limits. With the perfect 50/50 weight distribution and super-grippy tires, the car hugged the road no matter what I threw at it. The acceleration at the high end of the rev-band (after VTEC initiation) was heart pounding. Cruising in 4th gear at 50mph, downshift to 3rd and punch it... 80mph in the time it takes to look down at the speedo. Comparing its acceleration and skidpad numbers, the closest car is the Corvette Hardtop and thats another $10,000.
Drive one {S2000} and you'll be the same way, I did, then
bought one!!!!

No way in hell i'm posting pics of my ride. 72 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4. She's fugly right now. Rust orange and white make the paint a couple good rust holes in the cab. Headed into the paint shop right now to grab some primer. Gonna be doing some body work this weekend. Peeling off 80% of the chrome on it just leaving the front bumper trim around the windows and door handles. Tack welding in all the little holes that are left and gonna paint it all up either Canary Yellow, Dark Metallic Forest Green, or a Dark Metallic Charcoal grey. I've narrowed it down 2 those 3 choices. Has a Pontiac 389 under the hood. It will shit and get when ya romp it to the floor. Been building it from the ground up. I work in a machine shop so you can only imagine all the custom parts built for it.

83 Chrysler Cordoba...died last weekend. just got it towed to the junkyard today. I came so close to crying. :( Every noise that car made was just great. The clunk that it made when going into reverse and into drive...the squealing when going backwards, the brakes that only worked when the pedle was on the floor...Had a nice 318 in her. Man I could spin them tires whenever i wanted. well after she was well warmed up. Before that she wouldnt even start to roll w/out stalling but still! It was great! :)

Well fellas here's my new pride and joy (and money pit :D ). She's a beauty ain't she? '89 Mustang GT 5.0 5spd. Pretty much bone stock, but that will be changing soon!. I tell you after driving a 1.6L Honda for a year and driving this for a month you realize just how cool low-end torque is. You don't have to rev to the sky to get decent power. It pulls hard from 1500rpms all the way to the 5000rpm redline (and yes it'll smoke your precious S2000). I can shift at 2000-2500 rpms and easily beat many cars.
