Did anybody try out 3dmark 2001 yet

yeah pretty cool, but it crashes once in a while for whatever reason. i don't think it's a heating issue cuz i can play hours of gaming without any lock-ups and i always have the latest drivers for my system. oh well as long as i can get my quake3 i'm happy :-)

I downloaded over dial up twice! 2 + 20 each time.

1350 on the TNT2Ultra and 2347 on the 6800.

Its a nice change from the old one. I'm looking forward to trying out the V5500 next week.

Swapped out the V770 Ultra for the Voodoo 5500 and the score went all the way up to 1450 or so. It sure dont like the Voodoo but the card is fast even at default.

Tried to install it on my other box but it wont go past 640 x 480! When I used to have a V3 in it, I had V3overclocker installed and couldn't uninstall so did a search and deleted the program but must have hit something else important. Any way to just reinstall the driver portion of W98SE or any other suggestions!

the main reason the v5 proforms so poorly in that benchmark is its Lack of T&L. otherwise it woudl atleast have a fighting chance.

my ol' p3 750mhz with old regular geforce256 ddr got 2561
test at 1024 x 768 32 bit under 3dmark2001

My Cel 566@901 and its screwed up L2 is holding me back. Have a Hercules 3D Prophet DDR/DVI and only got a score of 1645. It wouldn't even run it at 952. My Winbloze 98se must be gettin' hosed up cause it won't run most game at that anymore.

it is a few things: win98 friendly, gf3 friendly, amd friendly, and anti vidman.

I was in the top 10 score on the radeon with tbird combo on there site for a long time...just like I was with 3dmark2k with my oced p3 and geforce ddr....after the inital run when it Proves who is men and boys I just dont care.
