Any Andriod users know exactly how I can move music files to my SD card?

You don't need an app manager app. Android has the ability to move apps to the SD card by itself from Settings -> Applications. be aware some apps can't be moved.

My opinion is do not move any apps, just move most of your data to the SD card.

You also don't need an app manager to control what apps are running. You can do that yourself from the same settings pages.

If you're new to Android let me warn you that it's not a protected walled garden like iOS. You want to install as few apps as possible and carefully vet them. It's like the wild west in the Android app store.

I install as few apps as possible. Most apps run services in the background that will sap your battery and RAM, and even worse, many apps are malicious.

Less is best.

My last phone was a Galaxy S4 and loaded with apps, many of them I added to the new phone but not all. I use to have a few games on it too but realized that I never play games on a phone as there's always better options, like things with larger screens.
The S4 got better with battery usage as time went on, updates, etc but the new phone sucks more power, so far. I've read and heard that it's not uncommon for new Samsung phones to initially suck more power and that they get better with that in time so I'll see.

Still having trouble moving anything by phone to the SD card. Was at the phone store last night, brought it up and the guy said to try another SD card. Hopefully I have one laying around........later.

One way to improve battery life on Android is to not have any app notifications pushed to your phone. I also don't let the phone check my email automatically. You can disable the most of Samsung's bloat. Search online to see which ones you need to keep. You may also want a spare or larger capacity battery at some point.

I do the same as Err. I disable most notifications in apps, and I check email only on demand.

From what I'm reading via search, the SD card problem is a huge one after the recent OS update which installed a day after I got the phone:

http://forums.androidcentral.com/verizo ... -card.html

MANY "opinions" on how to fix it but I can tell you the "My Files" also fails to move anything to the current SD card. I don't think one thing has ever moved to the SD card since it was swapped from the S4 to this phone 6 weeks ago.
Now to weed through all that........

Fun, fun, fun!!! :(

Picked up another smaller SD card just to try and it works, so the problem's with the original SD card that use to work fine in my old phone. Think a format might fix it?

Worth a try. I do know some phones ARE fussy about the card. My old EVO 4G phone didn't work properly with the 8GB card that came with it from the factory. It would intermittently unload the card. This was a known issue. It affected everyone. Both our phones had the problem. The solution was to buy a card from one of the brands that people had figured out - through trial and error - worked properly with the phone. Needless to say, I got the biggest card I could at the time.

I copied everything from the SD card to a file on my laptop running Win 8.1 and Windows is unable to format it. Even tried deleting the cards files first so that Windows showed nothing on it.
Tried to put it back in the phone, still won't save pics to it. It's a 64gb card too so I hate to think that it's now junk. The one I bought yesterday is only 16gb, OK but still....

Sounds like a bad card. You found try running a repair on it, but not sure I would trust it even if that fixes it.
