many thanks for that info, john : )

i'm pretty sure my husband plans on ringing up my brother [ who's worked for Ford most of his life ] for some tips, etc.; but he's upstate, so can't be of overly help to us here locally,,

tomorrow, hubby has to take off from work again, bring the Title to the body shop; the ins. rep will be there, cut us a little check, and that will be that,, and so it goes :(

[CENTER]well,, we waited until after all this Winter's snowstorms had passed, and a few days before Easter, hubby went on a car hunt, and returned w/this 2012 Lincoln MKZ:

{ the timing was good, ~ made it upstate for Easter, and had a week-long visit w/my folks :) }

it's a step above what we had or wanted, really [ 'cause street parking is always a risk, ~ but I like the individual seat heating/cooling/adjustable lumbar features. oh, and the moon roof, too : ) ]

Looks pretty sharp. Yeah, I love the heating/cooling of seats.
My front have heat/cool and the rear has heat. Not that we need heat down here but I can place a pizza on it and help keep it warm. ;)

I really like the looks of those. If I was in the market for a new car, I'd have to check one out.

My wife LOVES the cooling in the seats on her Lincoln Navigator. Hardly ever use the seat heat here though.

thanks so much, everyone :) ; it's just so good to have wheels again, that's for sure.

FP, ~ it didn't even occur to me to try the cooling feature, ~ we had snow upstate on Easter evening! but i'll be right on top of that seat cooling { literally, lol } when summer rolls around :)

cheers, eGo :)

he was searching the web and doing a lot* of research on cars during the Winter months, and every time he planned to go to dealerships, we'd get hit w/another snowstorm; so ~ time went on, and this is what he finally decided on, from what was available.

Nice ride. My wife got heated seats for the first time this year and uses the heck out of them during the winter. I think I'd really enjoy cooled seats on road trips. I always get too warm.
