Unspoken Communication differences between men and women

The second time around, the man is very, very careful to look for a woman who will accept him for who, and what he is, and not look to change him.

IS there such a woman? I've been with mine for 34 yrs now and yes, she still wants me to change (somehow) and I'll say, "after 30+ years, don't you think I am what I am, not likely to change anymore" and she say "there's still hope" ...LOL

We guys just accept women for what they are, shrug and say "well, she's a woman" and have yet another beer

Then it's "another beer, how many of those are you going to drink?"

Absolutely! I am extremely sensitive to being told what to do, where to go, how to dress, what to say, and how to say it. I had many years of that. But that part of my life is over. She's gone and I'll never have to listen to nagging again.!!!

Nope, I chose very wisely this time. Nine years ago at the age of 59, after years of looking, dating, and selecting, I met a beautiful Latina from Colombia, South America. Totally different culture. Strong family values. A belief in both men and women having specific roles in life. A culture not unlike the 1950s in the U.S.A. She's 10 years younger than me, but that's cool.

After 2 years of dating, she moved in with me. After 5 years of living together, I was finally comfortable, and we married in August of 2009. Nine years, and not a single nag, not one! We have tremendous respect for each others culture, space and individualism. It's a beautiful thing!
