Yep, sounds exactly the same for the cap. My pings are fine though for the most part during games(knock knock knock). Where you located? In in PA, near Philly. I did call them about the cap and after speaking to 2 of the stupidest people in my life. I realized we were simply screwed. :(

I live over in Indiana. Whats wierd is that my friend 3 doors down doesn't get any of the crazy spiking ping problems I get. I don't know if the comcast server I'm going through is different than his (doubtful) but it would explain why I'm getting the problems and why he isn't.

I've changed everything in the house except the wire running from the telephone pole to the house. I don't really think thats it, though it *could* be. We have basic cable and I would think that if the wire was bare or rubbing agaist something giving me poor connectivity, it would also make cable T.V. fuzzy or not come in real good.

I don't really know enough about it to make an assumption and neither do their techies, which is truely sad. I'd get DSL but a friend that lives a mile or so away has it and gets slower download speeds than I do. Though he probably can play games smoother (though I don't know cause he doesn't play games) And here I go babbling more and you probably could care less......

The thing that you put in your network identification tab. I had it at "Frost" and had to change it to 109965-A or something like that.
