So yesterday my wife brought home a couple of kittens
Lots of good info here but remember
The common housecat is the only "domesticated" animal that has almost no need for humans. The ancient egyptians understood this. The housecat is the "perfect predator." The consort with us because it amuses them to do so.
With that in mind, reread all of the sound advice in this thread understanding that when someone says "this is how I've trained my cat", they are really reporting what the cat has trained them to do for its own comfort, security, and amusement.
I have the approval of my 13 year old housecat to post this.

we use advantage or front-line plus - i order it from horse.com for are dogs, and cats in quantys of 6 packs units. there the cheapest on price and will price match . if you do look online for flee treatments. becareful some of the companys are not US. based and the treatments are cheaper becouse there not the same as sold here . we buy a lot of treatments becouse i order for us and wifes sisters ,parents pets to .FlyingPenguin wrote:Easiest way to get rid of the fleas is when you go to the vet, get a couple of doses of Advantage. For kittens they'll give you the stuff for small cats. You pour it on the back of their neck at the root of the fur. Works like a charm.
Don't bother with the cheaper non-prescription stuff at the store - it doesn't work very well.
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me.

That is some great advice FP!!!
I have 3 cats. Baily, the oldest of the bunch never seeks attention because he wants it, he does it for me. Psycho and Brown Cat do it because they want soemthing!
Heres a good cat forum. http://www.catforum.com/index.php?sid=2 ... 562307667f
Here are my beasts

I'm not lazy by nature, I work very hard at being lazy.
wow,, ~ neat tree condos!

FP, ~ the kitten we adopted last yr, just weighed in @ 17 lbs. not* good, as could lead to diabetes, and we have already been thru kidney failure and cancer w/our last 2 babies,,
so, we are now mixing in W/D food, 'n' we were told to try to get her to eat canned food.
our vet says cats gain less weight when eating canned food { less carbohydrates }.
i luv ur kitties, d_b, ~ the color of "brown cat" is gorgeous : )
'n' as to ur psycho one, d_b, { lol }
, ~ our Briquette loved to be swung on a door as well.
she preferred to be laying upside down on her back tho, when we did it!
she was a psycho, too : )
on a very happy note, ~ we adopted a new kitten yesterday
we went to a shelter not really expecting to find one,, ~ but this one stole our hearts, ~ she is a real firecracker : )
i will post pix when i have some decent ones : )

So I just left the house to take my kids to the ex wife, and my wife got into the shower. I left my monitor on my PC on apearently.
The keyboard is connected to it through it's USB port, so if I turn it off it disables the keyboard and mouse.
She said this is what she saw when she got out of the shower.
And note, it is on full screen mode, so F11 had to be pushed, and it is also on the image search.
