The concept looks very interesting, but being an X Auto Mech I can see paying 3 to 4 times more for this thing than a full size Domestic Pick-up Truck, when it hits the streets. Not going to be a cheap rig to buy is what I think.
The 8' box feature is cool till I took some time to think about the way you have to open the rear seat area and drop the gate to get the full 8'. I personally wouldn't want 4 - 5- 6- 7- 0r 8 sheets of plywood 2 " from my back in a panic stop or worse yet a minor head on crash. I just don't think the seats will stop the load from coming through the seats and cutting you in half.
My last name is Hoffman....would suck having to change it to Halfman.
