Ok, thanks for the clarification there. My dad woulden't have been happy if he found out that we wasted a bunch of money on something we wern't going to use. I know that I could get a better deal from somewhere else, either Dell or from a local compter shop, but I want to build a comp, to say that I have, to learn how to, to know my computer inside out, and to make it as upgradable as anything could be.

Anandtech did a big review on that dfi board - very highly rated - problem is that 754 is basically finished and replaced by 939 so your upgrade path in cpus is pretty limited

Upgrading CPU isn't my main concern at this point. I have been working with a 1.8 32 bit processor, and I would say that replacing it with the best processor would make a miniscule difference then compared to the speed upgrade that switching to “no page filing” did. Having enough RAM is essential for speed. When I talk about upgrading later I usually don't mean upgrading the processor. My computer still kills all of my friends comps because I have it modded up, even though their comps are years newer than mine, and have 3.2 GHz+ processing power.
