My fricken family is puttign in orders for LEGO systems. I mean the legos them selves cost about as much as the fricken system. Who in there Right mind

would want to spend that kind of money....notice I said right mind.

We got second generation legos now and, unlike computer parts, they never wear out, become obsolete or change 'connection' types!!

We have a big plastic tub of them still and they'll go to the kids kids.

I doubt your young lad will miss an AMD system unless he tries one first. You tried anyway and maybe he'll come around some day. I've been away from intel for a few months now and am curious about the newer P4's and mbs too.
