If your running XP, then try this link from DSL Reports.

Here's the low down if the link doesn't work:

1. Start > Run > compmgmt.msc > Hit Enter
2. Computer Management > Services and Applications > Services > DNS Client (in right side window)
3. Double click "DNS Client"
4. STOP the client by clicking "Stop"
5. Switch it to "Start Type" = MANUAL (so it won't start again until you start it).
