Then i decided i wanted to play gangsters 2 so i turn it on it loads everything except after the loading window for windows xp i get a bluescreen and it just resets itself have no idea what is up with it. It resets so fast it does not even give me time too look at blue screen error. i thought maybe it was cause its overclocked so i put it back to stock speed 1 ghz and still same thing. Safe mode same thing.

aright...I had the EXACT same problem. the first time I had it, I just his F5 repeatedly while the OS was booting, this brought up a sreen that had different boot options--choose "the last known configuration that worked". This allowed it to boot to the Windows screen. But, about 2 weeks later, the problem arose again and the previous solution didn't work. So, I just decided to format and install WIn98SE. If their is a known fix for this, or if their is a known cause, I'd LOVE to know...

Ever thought that just maybe your processor is causing this to happen... Try running it at default and see if those problems come up... I had trouble with my chip running well over specks with XP... It was flaky at 1.53.... wouldn't even do 1.6.... I reloaded Win2k and it was stable at 1.6 for a while now running at 1.53 with no problems... My PSU is slowly dying and my 5v is too low to run it at 1.6.

Really. There's no reason that WinXP should be getting trashed on a regular basis. I'd be concerned that something else is corrupting the drive.

Overclocking is certainly a possibility. XP and 2K are both fussier about overclocking than Win9x.
