Homemade rounded cable

Post by NascarFool »

Well, I have made them using electrical tape but the tape starts coming loose after a month or so. Tonight I was bored, so I grabbed a piece of 1/2" tubing and made a rounded cable for use on my DVD and CDRW drives. The tubing is un-split, it was fun getting the connectors off each end of the cable and putting them back on. I will install it and see if it works now. :D

Works great. I did the floppy cable too. As you can tell, I am bored tonight. Seeing how it is "TTOTM" (married men should know what that is) I could probably do a big box of them. :D

Nice, I bet it was a bitch to get those ends off and back on again (in a way that the cable would still work afterwards, that is :) )
