Project Hail Mary

Post by FlyingPenguin »

Okay, I am so stoked. This was one of my favorite novels.

God, please, don't let it suck.

BTW if you've never read the book, don't watch the trailer, it'll ruin the book and possibly the movie for you. I'm not sure why they did that.

I was just going to post this, and I hope it does not suck. Not sure about the actors watching the trailer though.

I worry about Ryan Gosling in the lead role, but then again when I first heard Matt Damon was going to be Mark Watney in the Martian, I thought that wouldn't work out either, and yet Damon absolutely knocked it out of the park.

I wish it would have been directed by Christopher Nolan, the one that directed Interstellar.

Project Hail Mary is scheduled to be released on March 20, 2026 in the United States by Amazon MGM Studios, and internationally by Sony Pictures Releasing. The film will also be released in IMAX.
