High speed chase through cow pasture ends in PIT maneuver

Post by FlyingPenguin »

This pasture is just a mile down the road from me.

I'll bet there's some pissed property owners. The guy smashed several gates and fences, and there's cattle in those fields.

This all started with him trying to rob a restaurant manager who was leaving the restaurant at 1am with the day's cash. He then holed up in his girl friend's parent's house and a SWAT team was called in. Somehow he blew past the SWAT team in an SUV.

We don't get much excitement around here. Pretty sleepy town. So this is a big deal for us.

So if an officer pits a vehicle into your fence like that, who pays for the fence?

Seems lame that they have to pay for it. Should be the PD in my opinion.
