"The Last Ship" New TV Series

I hadn't heard anything about this until today. It's a Michael Bay production, and because he has friends in the US Navy they used an actual warship. Pilot aired last night on TNT, but should repeat. It's also all over torrents. Getting good reviews everywhere, including torrent boards.

Just downloaded it so I can watch it later tonight.

Pilot started off with a bang. Some minor technical issues, but no deal breakers.

well,, we checked it out last night,,
reckon it's ok; not overly impressed by it, but doable : )

the actor playing the captain of the ship doesn't seem to have much of a command aura about him,,, maybe it's because i remember him as chief of plastic surgery from Grey's Anatomy,, : )

anyway, ~ we'll give it a few more episodes : )

we are liking this show more and more. it pays most times, to give things a chance

{ btw, in the late '80s - early '90s, my husband, as Sr. Designer, worked on the Arleigh Burke DDG-51 Lead Ship; he did design and layout of engine rooms process systems and asst'd pipe supports. he had a chance to eventually go on board, too; he said it was the greatest thing : ) }
