These newer all is lost alien invasion movies just aren't doing it for me. At least in independence day they had something "alien" to fight back with. I mean, honestly, if there are aliens and we have had encounters with them and do or don't have bits and or pieces of their technology, we would certainly have something to work with by now.. Wouldn't we?
