is it worth the headache to try and repair a lcd montor ?
i have a sony that the power light comes on and you see light up but not fully and then go's dim/dark screen ?
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me. :help

I got the same issue with a gateway. Bad caps on the power supply. I think its like 16 dollars for the cap set on egay, probably cheaper if i shop a little. But the lcd sold on ebay is like 60-75 shipped. I am going to sell the lcd and buy a new one with a warranty ;)

Oh yeah, caps could be a problem too. Shame they cost so much.
